A Step Above The Rest: Exterior Wood Steps In Glenside

When a client in Glenside came to JR Carpentry & Tile for help with a set of concrete steps, we were shocked to see the condition that they were in. They were extremely deteriorated, and even collapsing in places! We knew that we had to replace them with a brand new set that was both attractive and safe.
In order to ensure that the entire new staircase was secure, we jackhammered the entire area, including the original concrete support. After we poured a new support slab, we set to work on the actual steps.
We built the new set of steps out of pressure-treated lumber, so that they could withstand the elements and frequent use as family and friends enter and exit the home. We closed off the sides of the new steps with white lattice to provide an attractive finish.
The new steps are safe, secure, and much more attractive than the original concrete!
