We came out to inspect the basement and gave them a free project quote. They only had one more question for us: “When can you start work?”

The answer was “immediately;” there was so much to be done that we didn’t want to waste a moment. The entire basement was completely gutted to get rid of all old materials and free up the walls for insulation.

With the proper insulation in place, we installed new sheet rock outfitted with space for brand new outlets and light fixtures. The HVAC system was updated, and a new hookup was placed in the wall where the TV would be mounted.

Sound deadening underlayment was laid on the ground before gorgeous new flooring was installed. JR Carpentry & Tile is notorious for our attention to detail, so of course we did not forget about the brand new trim and paint on the walls to match the homeowner’s style.

The family plans to use this space for a home office and family gathering area. It’s the perfect room to sit around the TV and relax together. They are very excited to start using their brand new space!
