Remember when JR Carpentry & Tile completed a bathroom remodeling in King of Prussia that reflected the homeowner’s love of the great outdoors?
They called us back to transform another bathroom into a true reflection of their love of nature!
The bathroom was in serious need of some major repairs, both functional and aesthetic. You can tell from the before photos that the space was extremely outdated.
The first things to go were the floor, vanity, tub surround, and all of the hardware. It was best to start with a completely clean slate. With all of the old installations cleared out, it was finally time to start putting in the new the new.
A brand new tub was installed, with a tile backer board inside the shower stall area which extended up to the ceiling. Natural stone 6×6 tile was placed around the shower stall and in a wainscot fashion around the room. The tile is reminiscent of the stones and boulders you might see while hiking one of the incredible trails surrounding King of Prussia, and it looks great next to the 12×12 stone tile floor.
The vanity and mirror were hand-constructed out of cedar to finish the natural look. With a coat of paint on the rest of the walls to tie all of the colors together, the bathroom was ready for brand new fixtures to be set up.
We were thrilled with the end result of this project, and the homeowners were, too. They couldn’t wait for the paint to dry so they could hang several pieces of artwork depicting wildlife you can find right here in our area!
