Did you know that you’re loosening your stairway railing every day, simply by using it?
Each time we walk up the stairs, we tug at our railing. This wears it down over time, causing it to loosen and become unsafe.
An interior railing replacement not only ensures your stairway is safe, it also adds a touch of charm to your room
JR Carpentry & Tile was contacted by a client for help replacing their stairway railing. The old metal railing had become loose and unsafe, and the look of the metal did not fit with the rest of the house.
We upgraded their railing to a wooden oak newel post with white square balusters. Newels support the handrails and can be stylized to match your interior decor. Balusters, also known as spindles, support the railing and comes in various materials such as wood and different metals.
A simple railing replacement can change the mood of your interior. For this project, the wooden oak we chose made the space warm and inviting. The white square balusters added light to the room. By combining these two elements, we gave the interior of this home a traditional, beautiful new look to the light cream walls. This was exactly what the homeowners wanted, and they were as happy with the results as we were!
When did you last upgrade your interior railing? JR Carpentry & Tile offers high-quality newels and balusters in a variety of styles, depending on your specific needs. Let us help update the look of your home with attractive (and safe!) stairway railings you’ll love for years to come.
